Reduction In Net Profit Dominion Special Service. AUOKHAiND, May 6. The accounts of New Zealand Newspapers, 'Limited, for the year ended March 31, show a net (profit of £45,035, a reduction of £5531. A final dividend of Bd. a share is recommended, making 1/4 a share, or 8 per cent, for the year (unchanged). The year’s dividend aibsoribs £39,833. leaving £44,139 bo be carried forward, against £38.937 brought in. Gross profit was £164,977, against £138,378, and expenses totaiMed £126,162, compared with £91.224. Taxation for the year absorbed £96,000.
