PETROL FAMINE ENDS

The Premier, Mr. 'J'. D. L’attuilo, lias announced a compromise whereby sales of petrol will be resumed after a motor fuel famine lasting seven days. Prices have been increased one cent a gallon in Vancouver and more elsewhere. They will be effective till May 8, when a special meeting of the Legislature will be held.
