Butter Prices In New Zealand (From “The Dominion,” May 6, 1915). The Foodstuffs Commission in New Zealand has concluded its investigations about the price of butter, and its report was forwarded to the Government last night. It is understood that the commission is unanimously of the opinion that the prices charged in New Zealand are unduly high, and that the Government should take action in the interests of the consumers. It is also understood that the commission makes recommendations designed to reduce the'price of butter within the Dominion. # ♦ ♦ The Dannevirke County Council has approved of the principle of taxing motorcars.
