Motor-cars In Collision Following a collision between two motor-cars at the corner of Vivian Street and Cambridge Terrace at 1 a.in. yesterday, Mr. C. McKavanagh, waterside worker, 84 Standen Street, was take,a to hospital.by the free Ambulance with lacerated wounds to his face. Miss M. Cheyne, I’lri Piri, Ashhurst, who collapsed after tr fall in Playland shortly after midnight on Saturday, was removed to hospital. Mr. C. Rutherford, 'battery worker, 29 Tc Whit! Street, was also injured nt the Exhibition on Saturday, receiving a fractured left ankle as the result of a fall. Mr. T. Te Puni, canister-maker, 71 The Esplanade, Petone, dislocated his right shoulder while playing football against Johnsonville on tiie Petone recreation ground on Saturday afternoon. He was removed to hospital. Knocked over .by a motor-bus at the railway station at 5.5 p.m. on Saturday, Mr. P. Parker, labourer, 9 Vivian Street, wirs taken to hospital with injuries to his fight elbow and leg. Mr. 11. W. Nixon, journalist, Hamilton. received slight concussion and shoe|< when be was knocked over by a motor-ear in Waterloo Quay on Saturday night. He was taken to hospital at 7.45 p.m. Mr. V. Bright, caretaker, 120 Hanson Street, was knocked over by a motor-car in Queen’s Drive at 10.25 p.m. on Saturday. He was taken to hospital with slight concussion and abrasions. Mr. A. J. Thomas, a soldier, who received concussion through a fall at the Exhibition, was removed to Hospital at, 1.25 a.m. yesterday.
