SOUTH AFRICAN WAR VETERANS
Reunion This Week
The Wellinigitotn South African war veterans will hold their ’centennial year reunion on Thursday, within a few days of the Utility-eighth anniversary of the 'Signing of the peace treaty in that war. The High Commissioner for the United Kingdom in New Zealand, Sir Harry Batterbee, is to 'be the principal guest, and veterans from all parte of the North Island, as far as Gisborne, have stated their intention of attending. It is hoped to mark the centennial year by ,a record muster.
