Dominion Special Service. INVERCARGILL, May 3. Fine weather is promised for the annual winter meeting of the Southland Racing Club tomorrow. The fields right through are of good strength, and excellent racing under ideal whiter conditions should be provided. The track will be on the dead side. Waitoru is likely to start m the Awarua Handicap, while present plans are to start Sea Lady in the hack seven, instead of the mile. Betting will be win and place. Form horses are : — Southland Hurdles, Vitaphone, Turaki, All Blood. Invercargill Trot, Indian Wrack, Torrocks, Debtor. Myross Handicap: Colonel Rouge. Sea Lady, Gold Robe. Awarua Handicap: W aitoru, Heidelberg? Wild Career. Ritchie Memorial Steeplechase: Guste, Trisox. Otatara Trot: Crown Peak, Indianola, Harbinger. Bluff Handicap: Vanity Queen, Aspire, Strathalbyn.
