Comic Stories Of William Weatherman
r pHIS week’s page ushers in holidaytime and two—or three —weeks of freedom from school classes and lessons. The “winter hols” we call them and it seems as if AVilliam AVeatherman is doing his best to make the weather really wintry to live up to the name.
I really think it time William was put in his place, so this week I am setting you all off on a journey to find him and tell him just what you think of him. AVherever your imagination sends you looking for him—round AA’ellington’s windy hilltops, at the Arctic circle or up in the clouds —write the story of your journey and your conversation as a funny tale and send it in for this week’s competition. Here is a chance to make a clown of that mischievous AVilliam —so don’t miss the mail with your humourous entry. Name, penname, age and address on each entry, of course, and entries must be in by Wednesday night at the latest. —Kiwi.
