ACTION DISMISSED
Attempt To Displace Bertrand Russell (By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright.) LOS ANGELES, May 2. The Court dismissed the action in which a Baptist minister sued the officials of the University of California in an effort to force them to dismiss from his post as professor of philosophy (Earl) Bertrand Russell, whose appointment to the chair of mathematics at the City College of New York was declared void last month by Mr. Justice McGeehan in the Supreme Court.
