T.TARLEY GRANWILLE - BARKER, author of “The Voysey Inheritance,” which the Wellington Repertory Theatre (Inc.) is to stage for live performances commencing on May 11, is considered one of England’s greatest dramatists. Among other famous plays written by Barker are “Waste,” “The Marrying of Ann Leete,” “The Madras House,” and “Prunella” (with Laurence Houseman). He has also won much fame as ‘a producer of G. B. Shaw’s and other plays for the Stage Society and at the Court Theatre,, the latter being for some years under the management of himself and Mr. J. E. Vedrenne.
