BOMBS ON NAMSOS

British Ships Claimed To Have Been Sunk LONDON, May 1. A German High Command communique states that a cruiser, a destroyer, and five transports were sunk by bombs at Namsos, and that one heavy cruiser and live transports were seriously damaged. TJYj Stockholm newspaper *<Svenska

Dagbladet” says that a British destroyer was blown up during all-day German raids at Namsos yesterday, The whole ship disintegrated when the magazine exploded. Scores of marines and sailors were killed. The Germans lost two planes.
