CANBERRA MARU DUE TODAY, To discharge Japanese cargo and to load for Japan, the O.S.K. Line motor-ship Canberra Maru is duo at Wellington this morning from Auckland, and will berth a', tlie King’s Wharf. From here she will proceed to T.yttelton, thence to Japan. The Federal Company are the agents. ITALIAN SHIPBUILDING. Fifteen merchant vessels, aggregating nearly 100,000 tons, are at present under construction in Italian shipbuilding yards on foreign account. These include four on order for Rumania, three eacli for. the United States and Mexico, two for Norway, and one each for Yugoslavia, Holland, and Sweden. Some 25 merchant ships, totalling 1(11,000 tons, have been built in Italian shipyards on the Adriatic during the' third quarter of 1939. Ten of these ships were built for foreign Governments and shipping firms. The 35,(100-ton battleship Impero, built in less than IS months, was launched recently. Signor Mussolini laid the first plate of the keel in May, 1938. •
