Cabbage,- 2/6 to 4/-; carrots, 2/- to 4/6; swedes, 2/6 to 4/6; spinach, 2/6 to 10/3; marrows, 1/- to 2/-; parsnips, 'DO to 5/6; silver beet. 1/- to 2/-; pumpkins, 3/- to 4/-; leeks, 7/- to .10/6; lettuce. 3/to 7/9; celery, 8/-; beans, 6/- to 28/6; all a case. Cabbage, savoy. 6/9 to 13/6. drumhead, 5/6 to 6/-; cauliflowers, 8/6 to 13/-; pumpkins, 4/- to 10/-; peas. 14/- to 24/6; swedes, 4/- to 5/6; carrots, 4/- to 5/-; all a sack. Prices of live poultry in the Wellington market this week are quoted by Townsend and Paul Ltd., as follows:— White Leghorns: Hens, 2/6 to 3/3 each; cockerels, lOd. to 1/- lb.; pullets, best, 4/- to 8/- each ; others, 3/- to 4/-. Black Orpingtons: Hens (heavy), 4/- to 6/6 each, medium 3/- to 4/6; cockerels (heavy), 10d. to 1/- lb., medium lOd. to 1/-. Rhode Island Reds: Cockerels (heavy). lOd. to .1/- lb. Ducks: Indian Runner (young), 1/to 6/- each, old 3/- to 4/6 ; white (young), 4/- to 7/-, heavy_4/- to 7/-. Geese: 4/- to 7/6. Turkeys: 1/- to 1/2 lb.
