JAPANESE ACTION IN MACAO
Portugal To Protest LISBON, April 30 It is officially stated that a clash occurred in Macao between the Japanese troops and local police after the Japanese had occupied the island, the ownership of which has long been disputed between Portugal and China. Portugal is making a protest to Japan. [Macao is on the Canton River delta south of Hong-Kong.]
