Men’s Society Conference To Be Held In Wanganui PROCESSION OF WITNESS Dominion Special Service. WANGANUI, May 1. It was announced at the annual meeting of parishioners of Christ Church, 1\ anganui, last night that the annual conference of the Church of England's .Men’s Society will be held in Wanga-A from May 14 to 17. The conference will be presided over by the Bishop of Wellington, lit. Rev, 11. St. Barbe Holland, and the opening address will be given by Bishop Cherringtou, of Waikato. Bishop Bennett will give an address on the Thursday night of the gathering. ,On the same night there will be a Procession of Witness in which only men will take part. The procession will be headed by men of the choirs, followed by the clergy and bishops, the members of the conference, and men of the congregations of the parish. It is expected that the conference will be attended by 60 delegates.
