Yesterday’s Reports Wellington.— Cloudy with a geutlfe northerly breeze. The minimum temperature on Tuesday night was 48.0 degrees, and the maximum yesterday was uS.G degrees. At 6 p.m. the temperature was 51.9 degrees, and the barometer reading 1016 millibars. Palmerston North— Overcast and threatening, with some light rain in the morning. There was no wind. Wanganui.— Overcast and line, with a light, variable breeze and slight sea. Barometer 1019.3 millibars. New Plymouth.— Fair to cloudy; light drizzle. Barometer at 5 p.m. 1016 millibars. Masterton. — Fine and clear, with a

light westerly breeae. Low cloud developed during the afternoon, and temperatures were cool. Napier nml Hastings.—Fine, with a south-westerly wind. Waipukurau.—A glorious day of brilliant sunshine. Maximum temperature, 61 degrees. Barometer unchanged at 1019.3 millibars. Auckland. — Overcast, but fine, with a moderate south-west wind. Barometric pressure fairly steady, the 5 p.m. reading being 1017 millibars. Christchurch. — Fine and tninny after a frost of five degrees. The maximum temperature was 53.8 degrees. A light northeast breeze prevailed. The barometer fell slightly to 1013.2 millibars at 5 p.m. .Dunedin. — Calm and mild, with bright sunshine. Temperatures pleasant, the maximum being 60 degrees.
