Successful Candidates In Examination At examinations for sanitary inspectors, held in Wellington and Auckland on December 6 and 7, 1939, 15 candidates presented themselves, and the following passed the examination: — Robert Agnew (Port Chevalier), William George Alloway (Wellington), Stanley George Blake (Nelson), Howard Alexander Brugli ( Wliahgurei), James George Francis (Wellington), Owen Terence Hannigan (Mount Eden), Gilbert William Key (Kilrori), Alfred George Langford (Lower Hull), David McGregor Lawson (Birkenhead), Julius Joseph Norman (Auckland), Gordon Robert Oliver (Welliiigt.on), and Arthur George Tinney (Northland). In an examination in sanitary science as applied to buildings and public Works, held in Wellington on the same dates, Sidney Herbert Dawe (Masterton) was successful.
