STEAMER ON FIRE
Outbreak At Singapore Wharves SINGAPORE. April 28. A fire which broke out. in a cargo of copra in the vessel Benreoeh (SSIB tons) while it was alongside the wharves yesterday afternoon was still burning today, despite Hie continuous efforts of fire finals and fire engines. The vessel is listing heavily and it is believed she is likely to become a total loss. The Benreoeh was built in 1921 at Glasgow for Ben Line Steamers, Ltd.
