Annual Convention The convention of the Sunday School Union continued ils sessions in WellingB ton on Friday evening in St. Giles 1 Schoolroom, Kilbirnie. Twent.v-fonr i- schools were represented. Mr. W. F. - Stock presided for the first. half of the ( evening. A paper on "Examination Work and its Value.” wits given by Mr. 11. D. Grocott, The second half of tlie meeting was under the chairmanship of Mr. A. : Reed. Dr. Laird gave an address on "Evangelism in tlie Sunday School.” In thanking tlie speakers Mr. 11. E. 1 Brooker, president of the union, also conveyed thanks to tlie various churches for i the use of tlie schoolrooms for tlie meetings and to those who had contributed in any i , way to tho success of tlie convention. ; On Saturday afternoon delegates went . ) for a Ims drive' round Wellington, arriving ) at Rosenentli Presbyterian Schoolroom for : lea and a social evening. Last night the children of the Sunday schools visited the Exhibition and gave a concert in the Festival Hall.
