Funds Raised By Solway Old Girls' Dance

Niniino’s Hall, Wellington, was ■ a scene of much gaiety on Friday evening when Hie Solway College Old Girls’ Association held their first tea dance, which was to raise funds to enable the association to assist the A’.M.C.A. in giving soldiers teas on Sunday afternoons.

Bright music was supplied by an excellent, orchestra. Much hard work' had gone in arranging decorations which were carried out in autumn tones. Mrs. Avann, president of Hie association, acted as hostess, assisted by Mr. R. F. Goodworth. The arrangements were carried out by an energetic commit toe consisting of Alesdannv Rix-Trott and Scalley, AHsses Margaret Ninimo, Mollie Goodworth, Marie Alazengurb, Ol'ven Rawlands and Marjorie Dykes.
