Quarterly Dividend Unchanged

Broken Hill South, Limited, has advised the Stock Exchange Association that the directors have declared a quarter ly dividend of sixpence a share, payable in Melbourne on June 15. Transfer books will elose on May 7. The dividend is at an uncaanged rale.

Building Society Dividend

The United Betmauent Building and tnivestment Society of Airektaud has advised the Stock Exchange Association that the directors have decided to pay today 1111 interim dividend of 2i per cent. The dividend is at the unchanged rate of 5 per cent, per aim uni.

Red pumpkins are also cheaper, a drop from 4/6 to 4/- a cwt. having occurred in Ihe week. Seed potatoes tend to harden in price, quotations today for Arran Chief and Gamekeeper ranging from 9/-_ to 11 /6_ a cwt., which compares with 8/6 to .10/6 a week ago. 'Pon lots are still available in some quarters al £S. (Inions are selling steadily al 12/- a cwt. This price has ruled since last Monday. Other Bukekohe Hues which also show no alteration are grey pumpkins at. 8/6 a cwt., parsnips 5/6 11 sugar bag. earrots and swedes 4/- a sugar bag. citron melons 7/- a cwt., mid cabbage plants 10/6 a thousand. Beetroot: is also now being sent away in good quantily. 'l'he current price is 4/- a sugar bag.
