STATE HOUSING
More Contracts Approved
Cabinet has approved further contracts for the erection of dwellings under the Slate housing scheme. Details of these were announced yesterday by the .Minister of Housing. Mr. Armstrong. Fourteen separate contracts are involved, and they provide for the construction of 57 single-house units, four two-house units, four two-storied single-house units, and one four-house unit. Wellington and provincial contracts are as follows: —
Khandallah. —I’ippos and Co.. one two-house unit, one single-house unit. Upper Hutt. —D. Gray, three singlehouse units: G. R. Norman, two singlehouse units. Lower Hull.---G. W. Walker, one single-house unit : .1. E. Sage, one twohouse unit, five single-house units; W. E. .Tones, three single-ltou.se units. Hastings.--I’. J. Bridgeman. one four-house unit. N<;w I’lymoitih. - Waite Bros.. 13 single-house units: one tWo-hottse unit.
