Stage Presentation By Repertory Society Tonight The first New Zealand stage presentation of lan Hay’s comedy of English publie school life, “Housemaster,” will be presented by the Wellington Repertory Theatre Society in the Concert Chamber of the Town Hall, Wellington, tonight. Mr. Leo du Chateau is the producer. With careful discrimination the Wellington Repertory Society has assembled a cast which promises to give a highly creditable performance. The cast of characters' comprises Mrs. W. A. Martin as Barbara Fane; Heather Horrax, Marjorie Hutton and Elspeth McArthur as the three Faringdon sisters; Eileen Teward as the matron; Ngaire Thomson as the maid; Vivian Rhiml as the housemaster; A. G. C. Deuber as the beadmaster; Eric Lawson as Frank Hastings; Dr. P. B. Benham as Sir Berkley Nightingale ; C. A. Burgess as Victor Beamish ; John Roberts as “Flossie” Nightingale; A. 11. Macandrew as Philip de Pourxille; Lindsay Arlow as Travers ; Murray Todd as “Bimbo” ; Richard Climie as “Pop”; and Lawrence Gardiner as “Old Crump.”

Cedric Wright is the stage manager, Irene Spidy property mistress. Pat Brown assistant, Pauline Shotlander wardrobe mistress, and Coralie Smythsou prompter. The complete season will be of four nights.
