Princess Elizabeth Now Wears Stockings (‘■Dominion" Special Service: By Airmail.) LONDON, March ‘J. Princess Elizabeth, who will celebrate. her 13. th birthday next month, has been promoted to stockings. Second in interest to the bride herself at tlie wedding yesterday of the Hon. Cecilia Bowes-Lyon to Mr. Kenneth Harington, were Princess Elizabeth and her stockings. Guests remarked on the fact that they made her look older. They were champagne-coloured, and exactly matched her low-heeled strap kid shoes. Princess Margaret trotted beside her with white socks and champagne coloured shoes. Pale geranium red was worn by the Princesses. They had simply cut, waisted velvet coats in this shade, and matching hats. An older style was worn by Princess Elizabeth. Her velvet tarn o’ shanter, in the same shade of soft geranium red, was tilted over to the right side. At the left a gold brooch was pinned. Princess Margaret wore a halo bonnet, edged with a narrow pleated frill. The Queen's violet dress, with which she wore a double row of pearls, was in a slightly lighter tone than her violet velvet waisted coat, trimined witli a silver lox collar. Her profile halo bat, also in velvet, matched her coat.
