G. HUMPHRIES MAY RIDE AT RICCARTON
Dominion Special Service. CHRISTCHURCH, March 27. G. Humphries, who on retiring from riding a few months back entered into business as a hotelkeeper, did not hand in his licence and realizing that bis old employers, 11. and A. Cutts. would be placed iu an awkward position because of the suspension at Oatnarii last week of the stable horseman, C. T.'Wilson, he has offered to do the riding for the stable at the Easter meeting at Ricearton. No doubt the Clifford trustees will accept the offer. Humphries was at Ricearton yesterday n(oiming riding work. I’cerleps was withdrawn from all engagements at the Easter meeting at Riccarton at 2.10’p.m. today.
