A CHALLENGE
Mr. Edward Julius Brice, who styles himself a pro! ein-ea ling layman. has thrown out a challenge Io Mr. E. W. Hullett, whom he discribes as a starelieonsuming scientist, to a race of 10 miles. .Mr. llitllell is the Wheat Research Institute's chemist, whose ideas op diet apparently, conflict with those of Mr. Price. Tin’ idea behind the challenge is to prove Which is the litter man. The conditions of the race as laid down by Mr. Price are that it should be staged on the Addington racecourse, ami that a charge of one shilling should be made for admittance, the proceeds to be given Io a charitable organization. Mr. Price says be is prepared Io waif till Mr. Hallett Ims covered the first ‘JO miles before he begins Ills part in the race. “'Wlicn Mr. Ilullcll has covered 20 miles. I'll start, and I’ll beat him to the tape,” declared Mi-. Price.
