SEQUEL TO POLICE RAID
Men And Women Charged By Telegraph— Press Association. AUCKLAND, March 27. Following a police raid on two houses in Hobson Street on Saturday night, 24 persons, three of them women, appeared in tlie Magistrates’ Court this morning, having spent the weekend in tlie cells. One woman was charged with being the occupier of a house frequented by reputed thieves or persons without visible means of support, and the two other women were charged wit It being idle and disorderly. All were remanded till April 3, bail being allowed. The men arrested were charged witli being ide and disorderly and with being found •in company with reputed thieves and persons without lawful visible means of support. All were remanded till April 3. bail being allowed in each case.
