NEW YORK, March 23. ■Che Tammany Hall leader James Hines, who was found guilty of conspiracy in the ‘‘policy racket” case, Wils sentenced to imprisonment for from four to eight years, to be ineligible for parole before three years. The judge commented that he had been impressed by the evidence that Hines had used his political power to influence the police and certain magistrates. If Hines had not been 62 years old lie would have been sentenced more severely.
