TANIS SARCOPHAGUS OPENED
Mummy Of Founder Of 22nd Dynasty CAIRO, -March 20. King Farouk today otlicially opened the Tanis sarcophagus, the discovery of which by Professor Montet, of Strasbourg University, was reported yesterday. It has been ascertained that the mummy was not that of King I’sousenues, who owned the tomb, but of King Sliishak, who preceded him.
