Seven Chinese Fined

Seven Chinese were fined by Mr. W. F. Stilwell, S.M., in the Magistrates’ Court Wellington, yesterday for packing vegetables so that those exposed did not fairly represent the lot. Most of the charges referred to eases of encumbers. The fines were as follows, costs being added in each case: —Sun Song Lee, Otaki. £2/10/-: Chong. Kee Lee. Otaki, £i>; Wong Young, Otaki, £2/10/-; Ah With, Foxton. £5; Young Bing, Te Horo, £i>; Young Jin, Te Horo. £2/10/-; Kee Shing, Otaki, £5.
