REINCARNATION PROVED, SCIENTIST BELIEVES
Poor Will Be Rich In Second Birth
Ur. Eugen Kolisko, noted Viennese medical man and physiologist, asserted to a London audience recently that reincarnation has been proved beyond doubt, and that science would soon be able to establish it as the true explanation of the evolution of man.
At the end of Dr. Kolisko's address, says the “Sunday Express,” a man in the audience rose to his feet and said that during a previous life he was a gladiator in Itome in the reign of Nero. He had been able to give a minute description of fighting in the arena, and experts had found his description to be accurate down to the tiniest detail.
Dr. Kolisko, who is one of the leading supporters of the theory of reincarnation, stated afterwards that:— There is no chance of your being born a dog or a flea in your next life, nor were you a tomato or a fish in your last, because a human being can only be reincarnated as a human being.
If you are a criminal the chances are that, instead of being a worse person in your next incarnation, you will be a good person. If you lead a sheltered life now, with few temptations, you will probably become a criminal next time. If you hhve great wealth and position today you can expect in your next life to be a pauper, and the converse is also likely. All of us may have been criminals and. murderers in some previous life. We usually change our sex when we are born again. Which explains the almost feminine sensibilities of such men as poets and artists. In their previous life they
were normal men and were due to live again as women, but have been born before their time. It is not merely a few super-intelli-gent or otherwise exceptional people who have lived before.
We are almost all reincarnated, though most of us are unaware of it except when \ e have sudden flashes of apparently inexplicable memories, or tljat feeling “I have lived through (this moment before.” The few possible exceptions to reincarnation are outstanding geniuses. Napoleon, who was supernatural in many ways, may have been an entirely “new soul.” We are not reincarnated only once, but continue to be born again. The average time between our existences is one thousand years. Thus in your last life you may have been a medieval monk, before that a Roman empress, a Greek, slave, and an Egyptian warrior. Dr. Kolisko is a small man with an impressive forehead and piercing paleblue eyes. He said: “An outstanding example is the nineteenth century archaeologist, Schliemann. He was an ordinary German business man who from an early age read everything he could about ancient Troy. »“In late life a business deal led him there. He went straight to the spot where he knew Troy was. “The location was scientifically unjustified. Yet his excavations proved that he was right.” The reason for being good and bad. rich and poor, man and woman, in successive lives is that the soul must experience everything to achieve its highest form.
