EASTER CONVENTION

Sunday School Teachers

Arrangements have been completed for the Wellington Sunday School Union’s Easter convention to be held this year in Palmerston North. A satisfactory number of registrations has been received ami the Wellington teachers will be the guests of the Palmerston Sunday School Union.

The proceedings will begin with a united Communion service on Good Friday morning in St Andrew’s (Palmerston North) Church. The minister of the church, the Rev. J. Hubbard, will give the address, and the service will be conducted by the Rev. A. Blakemore, president of the Palmerston North Sunday School Union. The ordinary sessions, for which the president of the Wellington union, Mr. W. F. Stock, will occupy the chair, will begin on Good Friday afternoon witli a consideration of Hie arrest in Ute development of Sunday school work-. ’The programme for the convention includes a wide range of subjects of vital interest to Sunday school teachers and youth workers generally, and the speakers will include the Revs. A. Salmond, It. Blair. 11. Simpson stud ■Warnock, ami Sister Allan. Sunday school agent for the Presbyterian Church. Mr. W. I'l. Howe is convention secretary.
