BOMBING OF MISSION
Britain Protests To Tokio (British Official Wireless.) (Received March 23, 6.30 p.m.) RUGBY, March 22. The town of Plngkiang was bombed on March 15 by IS Japanese planes, when eight persons in the compound of the Methodist Mission were killed, including a British missionary, Albert Leigh. The British Ambassador in Tokio, Sir Robert Cralgle, has been instructed to protest. NEW OFFENSIVE BY JAPANESE (Independent Cable Service.) HONG KONG, March 22. Picked battalions of Japanese, assisted by gunboats, have opened an offensive at Ohekiamg.
