SYDNEY WOOL SALES
(Received March 23, 9.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, March 23. At the wool sales today the demand was keen. Good wools were firm at late rates. Average and inferior sorts were irregular. Greasy merino fleece brought 26id. The offering consisted of 11,542 bales, of which 9470 were sold at auction and 1001 privately. The average price for the first three days this week was £lB/6/2 a bale, or 10.9 d. a lb.
