Hollywood Hotel Revue To Visit Dominion
YEW ZEALAND is soon to receive a visit from .the Hollywood Hotel Revue, under the auspices of the J. C. Williamson organization. Among the performers is a man who cannot remember how many times he has dived over cliffs, jumped off trains, left burning buildings a half second before they fell in, and performed other hair-raising feats. He is Frank Park, who, with Bob Clifford, gives an acrobatic performance. Clifford, too, is an off-stage expert, but in another sphere. He is a long-distance swimmer. In the all-American “Hollywood Hotel Revue,” the producer, Harry Howard, has built up a magnificent scene in which these two acrobats appear. There is a “silver staircase” towering 24 feet, and on this the 40 beautiful girls of the company form a dazzling background to the acrobatic performance.
IRENE DUNN has announced that she will now do three pictures a year; one drama, one comedy and one musical.
