Associate To Minister 01 Lands

The chief clerk and deputy-registrar of industrial unions. Mr. G. M. F. Jackson, has been appointed by the Government to be associated with the Minister of Lands. Mr. Langstone, as the Government delegate to Hie International Labour Conference io be held in Geneva in June next. Mr. Jackson has been closely connected with the work of the International Labour Organization for the past 10 years, and has a wide departmental knowledge of the subjects to be dealt with at the conference. Mr. Jackson will also represent the Government at a preliminary tripartite conference eon vened by the International Labour Organization to discuss the subject of labour inspection. This conference will also be held in Geneva during the week preceding the main conference.
