ARBITRATION COURT DECISIONS

Possibility Of Appeals r. v leiegiaplj —fi. AI.CKLAND. March 22. Replying to an interviewer the Prime Minister, Mr. Savage, said that it might be necessary to amend the arbitration law. Il had been suggested to him that, there .should be appeals from Arbitration Court decisions. "I do not know how far reaching this may be,” said Mr. Savage. "it seems, however, that there is something worth while behind the proposal. An investigation will have to be made by the Labour Department with a view to the Government ascertaining where it would be landed in the event of the suggestion being adopted.”
