MILITARY TRAINING
Referendum Suggested
By Telegraph—Press Association. TE AROHA, March 22.
At the Te Aroha Chamber of Commerce’s March, meeting, an address was given by Mr. J. Wild, former president, on the advisability of compulsory military training, which was unanimously endorsed. It was decided to forward a copy of the resolution to the Government with the suggestion that if there be any hesitancy in dealing with the subject a referendum of the people should’be taken at an early date.
