MILITARY PREPARATIONS IN RUMANIA

BUCHAREST, March 22. The army requisitioned many taxis and thousands of carthorses. Herr George Schmidt, secretary of the German legation, has committed suicide by poison. He stated that recent developments had caused a nervous breakdown.
