Inspection By Ministers

VISIT BY MR. SAVAGE Auckland factories are to be inspected this week by the Primo Minister, Mr. Savage, who left Wellington for that purpose by the Limited express last night. He was accompanied by the Minister of Industries and Commerce, Mr. Sullivan, and by the Minister of Internal Affairs, Mr. Barry. A comprehensive programme has been arranged by the Manufacturers’ Association and at least 10 factories, representing a variety of industries, will be inspected. The Ministers will also visit the Otahuhu railway workshops tomorrow afternoon. The Prime Minister will have a busy day on Saturday. In the forenoon Mr. Savage will open the new building in Mt. Albert for the Plant Diseases Division of the Department of Agriculture. In the afternoon and evening the Prime Minister will attend gatherings celebrating the jubilee of the Bayfield School in his electorate, Auckland West, and he will be the principal guest at a banquet in the evening, when he will have an opportunity of meeting many of bis constituents. Later on Saturday night the Prime Minister will visit lhe Labour Club.
