On Holiday Mrs. Walter Norwood, Ka.rori, left by the Awatea en route to Melbourne and Sydney. She was joined at Auckland by her husband. While in Melbourne Mr. and Mrs. Norwood will be the guests of the former’s sister. Mrs. Swanson. Mrs. Fenwick, sen., Napier, and Mrs. Doris ’ McMaster, Featherston, have left for a tour of the North Island. They will visit Morere, Gisborne, Rotorua and Taupo. Mr. and Mrs. B. E. Pike, Highland Park, Wellington, will leave for a tour of the North Island this week. They will return home for Easter. Miss Romaine Wright. Wellington, has left for a visit to Rotorua, via Hawke’s Bay. Miss Margaret Runnicles, who is training at the Karitane Hospital, "Wellington, is spending a holiday in Palmerston North with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Holmes Runnicles, Carroll Street.
Mrs. A. Walker, who has been visiting her sister, Mrs. L. H. Angus, Wellington, has left for Auckland, where she wilf be the guest of Captain and Mrs. Pi'erotti, Remuera. Mrs. L. Wylie, Casel Street, Masterton, is visiting Auckland, where she is the guest of Mrs. L. Wright, Epsom. Mr. and Mrs. H. McKay, Otaki, have been visiting Miss Card, Featherston. Returned Home Mrs. Robert Pearson, The Terrace, Wellington, has returned from a three months’ visit to Auckland. Mrs. H. Paul, Highland Park, has returned home aftei’ three months’ holiday in the South Island. Miss L. Williams, Napier, who has been on a visit to Wellington, has returned home.
Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Hill, Wellington, have returned from a visit to the south. Mr. and Mrs. Leo A. Jacobsen, who have been touring the South Island, returned to Wellington on Monday. The Misses C. and J. Kerr, Mauriceville, have returned from a visit to Otago. Mrs. A. E. Freer, Carterton, has returned from Paraparaumu Beach. Mrs. Harry Hugham, Carterton, has returned from a motoring holiday in the South Island. The Rev. R. R. Raine and Mrs. Raine,. Wellington, who have been the guests of Mrs. Cocker, Albert Street, Masterton, have returned to Wellington. Mrs. H. E. Pither, Gumley House, Masterton, has returned from a visit to the South Island. ' Going Abroad Mr. and Mrs. A. A. McDonnell, Masterton, have left on a visit to Australia. Mrs. D.
