Dominion Special Service FOXTON, March 21. 'The Oroua Downs sports will be held on Saturday. April 1. Competitions will be included on the schedule for horse events, piping, athletics, cycling and dancing. .Horses entered for the half-mile gallop, the six-furlong gallop, and the mile gallop must be owned, trained and ridden by persons other than licensed trainers, jockeys and apprentices. Open to both sexes of any age, the North Island Irish jig championship will be decided.
