COMEDY REVUE
“’There is a great, surprise in store for Wellington theatregoers when they see the Young Australian boys’ comedy revue and stage band, which will commence at the Opera House tomorrow night.” This statement was made by the tour manager of the Young Australian Boys' Band ana Revue, Mr. E. R. Marie, yesterday. “Most people,” he said, “have the idea that this ip an amateur performance, but when they see the show they are amazed at the high-class and polished professional style of every performer. The entire programme is attractively presented, with lavish stage presentations and costumes, and the fact that the lads have played record seasons in some of the great overseas capital cities is an indication of the true worth of the performance. “We know that many people in Auckland came in a doubtful frame of mind to see the boys,” Mr. Marie continued, “bnt they went away as ‘boosters' to everyone they met. In fact, we know and have had letters from people who saw the two programmes as many as six times.” Comedy, dancing, impersonations and music by a stage band, featuring four piano-accordions, three xylophones and an array of other instruments will provide variety in the revue. AH these features have interest for everyone, and in addition there will not be a dull moment between items. Everything will move with clockwork precision. The Young Australians will _ present their night performances beginning at 8 o’clock and the matinees on Saturday and Wednesday al 2.15 p.m.
