Ministers . The long delay which has occurred in obtaining a conference with the mayor of Wellington and the Minister of Education concerning the erection ot a swimming baths for Brooklyn was referred to by the president of the Brooklyn District Swimming Pbol Association, Dr. -L. G. Austin, at a general meeting of the association last night. Correspondence was tabled showing that the city council estimated that the baths would cost £11,700, made up as follow®: Materials, £5300; labour, £3800; transport, £600; land, £2OOO.
