PERRYS’ CIRCUS
First Appearance Today
Perry Brothers’ Circus, which will begin a season in Wellington in the Winter Show Building this afternoon, at 2.30 o’clock, will be comprised only of artists of proven ability. This policy has been maintained during Perry Brothers’ 70 years of progress, and the wisdom of this scheme has been proved well. The programme will be headed by the Flying Dunbars, thrilling people who will perform almost miraculous feats while flying in midair 40 feet up in the “big top.” Acts from all parts of the world, acts which will be sensations, novelties, fun and excitement, will be presented—acrobatics, tumbling, ladder and perch pole balancers, trapeze artiste, head balancers, jugglers, rope spinners, wirewalkers, springboard and risley artists, women and men riders, contortionists, performing dogs, sheep, horses, lions, tigers, and elephants. It will be a show which the public will be able to see again and again, so full will it be of that joyous modernistic merriment and originality. Perry Brothers' zoo of IS cages of wild jungle animals, and a herd of elephants, will be on view between 4 and 5 p.m. every day, so that the public may attend to watch the animals feeding. Children are specially invited to see this carried, out. It will be something which will linger long in their memories. Another matinee will be presented ou Saturday.
