NGAIO RED CROSS SOCIETY
The annual meeting of the Ngaio subeeii'tre of the New Zealand Red Cross Society will be held in the supper-room of the publie ball. Ngaio, at 8 o clock tonight. The annual report of the branch s activity discloses a useful programme of work. During the year members have Imen trained in first aid and home nursing and many of them have linked up with the voluntary aid detachment and are readv for service. Residents ol the district' are urged by leaders of the movement to link up with the Red Cross, thereby strengthening its hands tor immediate action with the national body should emergency arise.
