MATAROA’S DEPARTURE
Sails 5 p.m. Friday The Shaw, Savill aud Albion Line steamer Mataroa, which arrived at Wellington yesterday from Lyttelton to complete loading for Southampton and London, via tile Panama Canal, will sail finally from Wellington at 5 p.m. on Friday. NIAGARA FROM SYDNEY. The Canadian-Australasian liner Niagara arrived at Auckland from Sydney on Monday morning and sailed again yesterday afternoon to” Vancouver, via ports. PORT DARWIN’S DEPARTURE. The Port Bine steamer Port Darwin will leave Wellington tomorrow for Dunkirk and London, via Cape Horn. CAMBRIDGE FOR LONDON. The Federal Line steamer Cambridge is expected to leave Auckland tomorrow finally for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow. THE PORT HALIFAX. To continue discharge of cargo from Halifax, the Port Line motor-ship Port Halifax will leave Wellington on Friday for Lyttelton, Dunedin and Bluff. CORNWALL FOR LYTTELTON. The Federal steamer Cornwall will leave Wellington on Friday for Lyttelton and Dunedin to complete discharge of Liverpool cargo. OTAIO LEAVES CAPE TOWN. The New Zealand Shipping Company's motor-ship Otaio, outward bound in ballast from Liverpool for New Zealand, sailed from Cape Town last Saturday afternoon. She is due in New Zealand on April 11. NO RTHUMBE RLA ND CLEARS CURACAO. The Federal steamer Northumberland, which left Falmouth on March 1 in ballast for New Zealand, sailed from Curacao on Friday last. She is due in New Zealand about April 15. RANGITANE LEAVES PANAMA. The New' Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Rangitane, which left London on March 3 for Wellington, left Panama on Saturday afternoon. She is due at Wellington on April 6. ” DORIC STAR’S LOADING. The Blue Star Line steamer Doric Star will leave Wellington today for Port Chalmers and Bluff to' complete loading for London, via the Panama Canal. She is due at Port Chalmers on March 24 and Bluff on March 27, sailing finally from the latter port on March 30. THE DOMINION MONARCH. The netv Shaw, Savill and Albion Line motor-ship Dominion Monarch arrived at Sydney yesterday morning from Melbourne and sailed again last night for Wellington, where she is due on Saturday morning. She will leave Wellington ou April 1 for Auckland. WAIMARAMA DUE TOMORROW. Tlie Shaw, Savill and Albion motor-ship Waimarama is due at New Plymouth at 6 a.m. tomorrow in ballast from London. CITY OF GLASGOW. The M.A.N.Z. Line steamer City of Glasgow, at Auckland, is expected to sail to 7 day for New York, Boston and Montreal. MATUA OMITS WELLINGTON. As a result of the waterfront dispute at Wellington, the Union Company's passenger motor-ship Matua, which arrived at Auckland from Suva on Sunday, will now not proceed to Wellington, her cargo of fruit being transhipped at Auckland. The Matua will leave Auckland for the Islands next Tuesday. ANITIOPE FROM NAURU ISLAND. The British steamer Antiope, with phosphate from Nauru Island for Auckland and Wanganui, arrived at Auckland yesterday. FORDSDALE AT AUCKLAND. From Liverpool, via Panama, the Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Fordsdale reached Auckland yesterday. She will complete at Wellington. Lyttelton, Dunedin and Bluff. AMBASSADOR WITH SLAG. The British steamer Ambassador is expected to reach Auckland tonight or tomorrow from Immingham with basic slag. NOTICES TO MARINERS. A light-and-wliistle-buoy painted red and exhibiting a flashing white light every three. seconds has been established at 243 deg. 7 miles from Waipapa lighthouse, Foveaux Strait, says a Notice to Mariners. Vessels should puss northward of the buoy which will be known as Fairchild rock buoy. A least depth of 15ft.
