(CALEDONIAN INGLESIDE

A successful Ingleside was held by Hie Wellington Caledonian Society on Saturday evening, in the Allen Street Hall. 'l'he evening was devoted to old-time and Scots dancing, interspersed with items. Mr. 11. Clark acted as M.C. Numbers of visitors from Scotland and from oilier parts of New Zealand were present. Miss It. Griffen sang two songs. “My Ain Folk” and “Aniarella." Mr. M. Meyer gave some piano-accordion select ions, and Miss Edna Whitelaw danced I he sean triubhais. Miss Audrev Young the Highland fling, and Miss Merle McClymont a skipping dance. Mrs. McGowan acted us accompanist, and Piper G. Fraser provided the music for the Scots dances.
