HORSES UNHARMED
By Tclcgrapn—Press Association. NEW PLYMOUTH, March 19
Spreading rapidly, fire destroyed tlie racing stable of the well-known Taranaki trainer, Oney Cox, in Hawera on Saturday afternoon. Three horses, Professional and two young fillies who were in the stable, wore removed unharmed except for a slight scorching recieved by Professional. The time that elapsed in tlie removal of the horses before the fire brigade was summoned allowed the flames to obtain a good hold and there was little hope of savins the building.
