Progress figures in tlie Western Australian elections give Labour 26 seats, the Country Party 13, National Party eight, and Independents two. with one seat doubtful, giving Labour a clear majority of at least two. All the Ministers’ seats are safe.
The state of parties iu the last Parliament wits: Labour, 26: Country Party, 13; Nationalists, 9; Independents. 2. 'Ten were returned unopposed, six being members of the Nationalist Country Party illKl lour Labour.
