ADMISSION OF REFUGEES

At a largely-attended meeting convened by the local branch of the League of Nations Union last night, a resolution urging the Government to grant better facilities for immigration to refugees from Central Europe was carried unanimously. It was also decided to form a committee to further the interests ofjrefugees.
